I’ve been in the lung cancer space 14 years so I've been in the unique position to have watched LUNGevity grow from the outside and then again from the inside! I’ve seen the staff grow, unique programs created and innovative services put in place that support all persons impacted by lung cancer. I’ve watched LUNGevity become the largest lung cancer nonprofit and the largest private funder of lung cancer research. I’ve been around long enough to see the research that LUNGevitys funded extend lives.
All of the steps that lead to all of those things were seeds planted, plantings tended to and cared for…the successful programs, survivorship conferences, events and research funded is the "abundant harvest".
I’m so proud to be one of the gardeners for LUNGevity and the constituency we serve.
There is not another organization that comes close to the education, research and support that we provide!
